Four months ago! Almost. It was a crazy day. For brevity, I went into labor at church. We went to the hospital at 1:45 PM, and Abby came at 2:14 PM. She was breech (trying to kick her way out - that explained some really sharp pains) so I had a c-section. Recovery wasn't that bad, it was just weird to see a baby and they're like: "This is yours!" OK. Anyway, she's an awesome baby, and probably the cutest in the world. She was 8 lbs. 5 ozs at birth. Adjustment was pretty good. We had my mom here for almost two weeks, then messed everything up for another week, and then Brian's mom helped us get everything back together again. They were both great.
I'm officially a stay-at-home mom now! I love it. It's a lot of fun. Hard work though too. Abby's now 13 pounds and smiling and laughing. She's great. Brian's a huge help! He's really good with Abby and does a great job of helping me with things around the house. Life is really good right now for us. We're loving life.
